Brand identity

In 2017, Updox had moved past the startup phase and was ready to expand— a trusted partner to 90+ EHRs and a well-established brand in the eFax space. I initially focused on user experience, developing design systems and new products like secure messaging for providers. As teams grew, it became clear that the brand needed a refresh and guidelines. After understanding the brand’s history, I simplified the logo, standardized messaging and colors, and created consistent brand assets.

Telehealth
Campaign

Prior to COVID-19 hitting the U.S. in full force, I was able to provide creative direction for one of Updox’s most compelling campaigns. With the goal to show healthcare providers on how Telehealth can help their practice. For the creative side—pops of brand colors to represent the patient vs. healthcare providers, angles to symbolize movements + growth and complimentary lifestyle images that kept content warm and relatable.

I lead communications across design, marketing and product flowing to hit key deadlines & deliverables. The campaign was a success—emails average a 32.2% open rate resulting in a strong sales pipeline and longevity for months to come.

Social Media

Before a designer was added to the team, Updox's social media was disconnected from the brand. After joining, I established brand standards for posts and unified banners and profiles across all channels. I then created image libraries for the team to use for ongoing posts, such as event promotions, and designed stylized images to support campaigns.
