Brand identity

After an exciting acquisition by Fifth Third Bank in 2021, the Provide brand became a blank slate. I was brought on to build a brand identity that embodied the heart of Provide while also developing intentional systems and bold elements that defied expectations in this industry. Through research and collaboration with the content manager, I created a comprehensive set of brand guidelines.
 

To ensure easier access and long-term use, the guidelines were developed and shared on an online platform. This was a huge success in empowering team members, developers, and external partners to learn the brand and independently utilize the elements they needed.

Video development

Our goal was to create relatable stories with diverse, organic characters and compelling narratives. Video work became a core pillar of our brand, allowing us to craft a series of cohesive videos for every touchpoint in the financial journey. I provided creative direction, facilitated internal reviews, and communicated feedback to our video partner, Made by Things. We produced over 12 videos, including brand films, product overviews, and customer testimonials.


To maximize our investment, I strategically allocated budget for working files, including illustrations, videos, and gifs. This enabled our creative team to utilize these resources across collateral, social media, and our website, further building brand equity and continuity.

Social Media

We engaged our millennial audience on social channels like Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Threads. Our focus was putting real people at the forefront—featuring customer photos, illustrated videos, podcast recordings, impactful quotes, and even Provide advisory experts. Working with the Social Media manager, I helped establish process for post image and copy reviews, along with providing branded templates and creative direction for designers to implement. Through learning and adaptation, we developed a solid strategy that generated 69.4K views across platforms and engagement year-to-date.
